Day 129 ~ I Can Do This!

My instead: I started SELLING my It Works! Global products/business to various people I encountered.

I hadn’t really spoken to anyone seriously to sell my “It Works” products or to encourage anyone to become a distributor since I joined five days ago. I’ve been doing something every day, but not really anything to grow my business. Time to get started!

One of the people that I work for has VERY sensitive skin, especially on her hands. In the past I had brought her a hand cream that I was using for “working hands”. It didn’t work for her…it made her hands burn. “It Works” has a Defining Gel that softens and hydrates and is made from all natural ingredients. I brought her a sample to try and a “product info” sheet. Passion, not greed, is what motivates me and I believe that my product could help her. Of course, just like ANY product, nothing works for everybody. She tried some and said it felt like it was really absorbing into her skin and it did NOT burn. But then she started asking about my “FATFIGHTER” product. She has a GREAT shape for 65, so I didn’t understand her interest. But, oh well! She even asked about the possibility of hosting a party. Okay. Then she texted me that evening asking about some pricing. I can do this!

Later in the afternoon I had a doctor’s appointment at my gynecologist. She is a mother of three (twin boys a year ago) and still has the “baby fat” around her middle. I shared with her about my starting a “wrap treatment” on the hanging skin and stretch marks on my abdomen. I even showed her my belly and I never do that…oh Lord! Then she showed me HERS!  I proceeded with a little more product information, but then we had to get down to what I was there for in the first place…a consultation about my female health. But the amazing thing was as she was leaving the room, she turned to me and said “Let me know how that ‘wrap thing’ goes”. I can do this!

As I was leaving the doctor’s office, I wanted to tell the receptionist/medical assistant about “It Works”. Earlier when I had first gotten there, she was very friendly and engaging. She was a single mom (had her baby at 15) and I felt that she was open to options in life to do the best for her daughter.  She appeared to be a sincere person…and she looked healthy! I went for all the marbles! I strolled out to my car to get the product catalog, a blitz card and the Steps to Success worksheet that my daughter (another “It Works” distributor) had, so intuitively, given me. I handed them to the woman and told her briefly about my business and the reason why I was giving HER this “opportunity”. She said she had heard of it before, but wasn’t sure that she could do that kind of thing. But she did say she could sure use some of the It Works products! I can do this!

It was a very interesting and encouraging sales day. I felt passion and it felt SO good! This I can do!
